A quarter-century before Illusion became the target of international outrage and censorship, a lesser known computer game had its own share of controversy. Yet nobody in the West ever talks about 177.

This is an attempt to bring Western audiences up to speed on dB-SOFT’s most noteworthy eroge. This video provides context for its development and place in Japanese culture more broadly.
