Introduction

This time, we’ve added some special rules to the classic Othello game to make it even more fun. Have fun playing with a friend!

How to play

Two people play.
Use the controller I to control the Blue Penguin and controller II to control the Red Penguin. Use the D-Pad to move up, down, left, and right, and the A button to place the panel where you are. you can also use the B button but we’ll explain that later.
The rules are basically the same as normal Othello, but there are some very different parts.
1) The field is 12×12 not 8×8.
2) You can place your panel anywhere you like, except on a corner, even if it does not sandwich your opponent’s panel.
3) There is a battle mode.
4) Panels such as change panel and corner panels appear.
That’s it. The color of the panel for player 1 is blue and the color of the panel for player 2 is white.

Special Rules

When the number of pieces reaches 100, a corner panel (green C) and a change panel (red C) will appear.
When you take a Change Panel, you can press the B button on your opponent’s panel to change it into your own panel. However you can only use it 5 times.
When you have two special panels, you can turn the opponent’s panel in your hand into your ownl When you want to grab a special panel, you must use the Penguin’s head. You cannot grab it with his feet.
Next, regarding the battle mode. When the two Penguins overlap, you will enter battle model. To fight, press the A button and the B button alternately. The first person to fill up their own bar will win.
The loser cannot move from the spot until the winning player places 5 panels. Also, if the player has a special panel, it will be taken by the winning player.
The outcome of the game is decided by the number of panels remaining when the field is completely filled with panels. Naturally, the player with the most panels wins.

Program

I used an array variable even through it would slow down the program.
