For orient.wav:
– After booting the machine, insert the tape image;
– Type ‘CLOAD’ and press Enter;
– After the game loads, type ‘RUN’ and press Enter to start the game.
For orient.dsk:
– Insert the disk image in the first slot, then boot the machine;
– The game should load and start automatically.
Game Instructions –
Use the arrow keys to move;
Locate the flags by using the compass;
The icon shown by the compass changes depending on whether you are horizontally or vertically aligned with the flag.

Hello, I’m 埼玉県人!! Recently, I got mentioned in a page of the magazine, and people pronounced my name as “Saitama-ken-jin”, which is completely wrong!! It’s actually “Saitama-agato”. Nice to meet you.
By the way, this time around I challenged myself with something for the brand-new MSX, per the Editor’s request. The concept of this game came from “Orienteering” for the MZ-2000, from page 106 of Novemeber’s issue (It wasn’t exactly a lacking concept per se. Editor and Kage would start sending me threats if I said that…). Your prayers have been answered, editorial team! (Gotta butter ’em up!)
Game rules
Move yourself (O) and collect the invisible flags. The compass in the upper right indicates the flag’s direction through the “|” and “-” symbols.
