Extra Info –
“I’m sending in Fanfare, from Square’s Super Famicom RPG Romancing SaGa 3. I’ve actually never played this game, since I don’t own a SuFami.”
“This is an 8-second track, so I was able to get it done quickly. This arrangement is pretty standard, with some complex chords added in. The most interesting parts are the realisitc timpani and the sparkly glockenspiels. I’ve gotten into the habbit of combining wind chimes with the oscillating glockenspiel, which I’ve already shown off in the July ’95 issue.”
“Despite how short this piece is(?), I’m proud of this high quality arrangement. Some of you may say that the melody doesn’t sound like a trumpet like in the original, but I don’t think that’s a big issue. This is just a teaser-ish little program, so I hope this’ll get you excited for my next one. I hope you play this and go Whoa, is this really from Romancing SaGa 3?”. I’m working on End Title right now!”
