Introduction

You are a jet helicopter tasked with rescuing those stranded on an island that is sinking due to magma activity.
However, the island is guarded by a magma avatar, which seeks to interfere with the helicopter.
Use your beam and quick reflexes to save as many people as possible. The red ones are the last to be saved.

How to Play

Use the ←↑→ cursor keys keys to move, and ↓ to lower your rescuing rope.
You may use the space key to drive away the avatar with a short span beam. However, by using it too often, your score will lower and you will not be able to shoot down the magma avatar into the sea.

Conclusion

Using sprites for the sinking island would make the game run much faster.

[ CHECKER FLAG ]

Dr. D: Considering the program’s length, this is well put together. The game handles the movement of the helicopter, humans, enemy and the sinking island al at once, yet none of their movements have any hint of unnaturalness.
Editor: It’s because of its use of sprites, no?
Dr. D: For sure. The author appears to have given great importance to movement.
